Gayle! Don't go...

Did you all watch Singapore Idol's results show yesterday?

I am so upset that Gayle went home. I really like Gayle. She is so adorable and she looks pinchable. This is so unfair. Why must the good singers be out and the lousy ones stay? Like I'd say, the good ones are often sent home and the not so good ones stay in the competion trying to impress viewers with their somewhat junky singing. So it pretty much defeats the purpose of having this competition, with the exception of Jonathan Leong though. I think the whole idea of having this show screened on national television is because Mediacorp wants to make money. Of course Mediacorp wants to make money, what was I thinking? But in a way, I do not comprehend the meaning of determining the winner by voting. What I mean is, by now everyone should already have a chosen favourite and will support him/her till the end of the competition. So why should they continue singing? & whatever the judges commented, would the fans even take it to consideration? No. They wouldn't be affected. All the hardcore fans out there are already blinded by their idol's looks. So why one earth are they continuing singing and trying so hard? It's as it like if you sing better in this episode, you will gain 200 more fans, and if you did badly, you'd lose 200 fans. This kind of things wouldn't happen. & If you are the kind of viewer that is determined that you are not dumb to spend money on nonsense like this, then that is it. Whether your Idol sang well or not, the most you do is just to boo him/her or to say "Way to go!". So it does not make a difference.
& oh yes. I miss Douglas O. He did a better job being the third judge. At least he's comments bear meanings and is worth listening to. Most of the time I wonder if Jacinta even knows what she said. I also wanted to kiss Ken Lim on Wednesday for making a remark on Jacinta. I hope she knows she speaks irrelevant stuffs all the time by now.

Aiyoh, anyway, I know I just said so much on things that are non of mu business, but I still love Singapore Idol. I love the way it helps me to kill time...
